  • “Visited here on two occasions while having a short break in the area. A real hidden gem. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good beer and very tasty food. We really enjoyed their Italian night which forms a part of a monthly global food dining experience. The food is definitely pub food ++ and can comfortably beat a lot of restaurants in terms of its quality and presentation. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay in Llanidloes extra special.   • "Chose the Angel for our last night out during a short break in Llani and so glad we did. Great to still find pubs like this - proudly local and traditional yet openly welcome to visitors. From the get go we were made to feel so welcome including our dog Obi who was fussed over all evening. Food was fantastic - lamb casserole to die for and great value. Great menu choice. Fine pointing bass. Fran and team - thank you for a wonderful evening to end our holiday!"
